Genre Research: Aladdin



  1. The major reason I decided to examine this movie is that the ubiquitous idea of the magic bracelet that grants wishes is based on a genie who bestows wishes from an object—an oil lamp.
  2. Along with the greed and selfishness, I actually enjoyed the drive and thinking. I want to build the main character's challenges and interactions around those four concepts.
  3. Although the plot was simple, I felt that it moved too slowly and could have done so more quickly.
