I made a conscious effort to both follow and deviate from accepted conventions in the selected media when developing my project. Traditionally, music videos for this genre often focus on the artist's experiences or a fictional narrative. In contrast, this video challenges the convention by centering around real-life moments of joy and camaraderie among friends. This duality accomplished two goals at once: it gave the viewer a sense of familiarity while introducing unexpected and creative features. Moreover, the representation of social groups and issues was a paramount consideration throughout the creative process.
